Florida Statutes require that all
schools in the state provide a character development program in all grades, K-12.
Duval County Public Schools participates in a program that makes an effort to teach
students how to take responsibility for their actions and to treat others with
respect. We believe in this idea and participate in lessons that promote
quality character traits.
In the month of September, the focus was on respect.
The students in our class voted for the student who has demonstrated traits
that show respect. The vote was a tie. We would like to congratulate our two students for being selected by their classmates for consistently demonstrating
respect.
